Continuing Legal Education

Attorneys have access to over 90 hours of quality continuing legal education programs by purchasing an MCLE Pass for only $65.00 for the year which allows them to attend all presentations provided by the various sections of the North County Bar Association. All evening three-hour seminars are offered at a reduced rate for members holding an MCLE pass. All programs are selected to assist our members in their practice areas and speakers are chosen to lecture from over 17 legal fields.

Also, the NCBA maintains a library of past programs on videotape at no cost. For questions or for available tapes, please call the bar office at 760-758-5833.

State Bar "Regular" MCLE Requirement

Total Hours Required - 25 hours required (maximum of 12.5 hours self-study)

Special Requirements within the total hours required (may be taken as participatory or self-study)

• Legal Ethics - 4 hours required
• Prevention/Detection/Treatment of Substance Abuse - 1 hour required

Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession - 1 hour required
