THE RULE OF LAW

"One of the great challenges of our age is man’s struggle to sustain individual freedom, human dignity, and justice for all; and ... one of the vital bulwarks in that struggle is the rule of law which underlies our whole social, economic and governmental structure." The rule of law refers to a system in which the government and the people must obey the law or lose their rights and freedoms. This system should be fair to all people. It does not affect just lawyers and judges, but people from all walks of life: students, teachers, clergy, workers, physicians, journalists, engineers, architects, police officers, military leaders, and others. It is essential that all of us care about the rule of law and try hard to be active participants in the public life of our community.

What to do:

1. All Entries must be submitted no later than April 25, 2008, to be considered.
2. Create a video that illustrates the rule of law.

     • no more than 2 minutes
     • no more than 100 MB
     • up to 640px X 480px,
   • Video Type:
     • .MOV, .AVI, .MPG, .WMV
